During my time as a freelance designer/developer I have completed several brand designs for clients from various fields such as hospitality, beauty and nonprofit. This has enabled me to use my knowledge and skills to transform someone's vision into artwork, whilst building a strong brand for their business. I have also been learning new skills and techniques to increase my ability.
Key responsibilities of this role included the creation of print and digital material for a range of clients, from internal departments to events organisations. The designs were produced for menus, posters, promotional materials and digital screens. This involved ensuring that brand guidelines were followed whilst meeting the creative briefs. The role was also an opportunity to design for a diverse student audience and develop good professional relationships.
During this creative journey the I was a session leader and the project leader of vTeam's Coding Club. Main duties included delivering coding lessons to children, lead and organize the volunteers and the committee and as an extra mile I made a logo specifically for the project which you can find in my portfolio above. This led to the team's success and in May we were awarded the Project of the Year Award 2018 as well as the Extra Mile Award 2018.
Key responsibilities of this role included redesigning the company's logo as well as creating brand guidelines that were applied across all marketing materials including posters, business cards, staff uniforms, car stickers and other stationery. I was also tasked with redesigning, developing and maintaining the company's website to match the new brand and attract more clients.
Key responsibilities varied from front of house to emergency first aid and hotel representation. The key duty was to ensure the best holiday experience for thousands of people each season.
